Vivo T4 Ultra: Vivo has started teasing the launch of its next major release in the popular T series: the much-anticipated T4 Ultra. Slated to arrive in India in early June, the T4 Ultra is shaping up to be a solid upgrade over its predecessor, the T3 Ultra—especially when it comes to the camera.
Periscope Lens and 100x Zoom Make a Debut
In the official teaser, Vivo puts a spotlight on what might be the T4 Ultra’s most talked-about feature: flagship-grade zoom capabilities. The teaser reveals a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a periscope telephoto lens and what appears to be a distinctive ring-shaped LED flash. The phone is expected to support up to 100x zoom, which is a significant leap from the T3 Ultra’s more modest setup.
Better Cameras Than the T3 Ultra
Now, to be fair, the T3 Ultra wasn’t a slouch. It came equipped with the capable Dimensity 9200+ chipset, but its camera system left some room for improvement—mainly limited to a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter.
Leaks around the T4 Ultra suggest a more ambitious approach. It looks like Vivo is sticking with the 50MP Sony IMX921 as the primary sensor, which is a good sign. But what’s new and intriguing is the addition of a 50MP periscope lens. If this pans out, it could mean a much more flexible and professional-grade photography experience.
Display, Performance, and Charging
The display, too, seems to be getting some love. Rumor has it the T4 Ultra will feature a 6.67-inch pOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate—smooth scrolling and vivid visuals should be on the cards.
Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 series SoC, offering not just better performance but potentially improved power efficiency as well. On the charging front, things are looking promising with support for 90W fast charging. That should be more than enough to give you a decent battery boost in just a few minutes.
Some details, like the battery size, front camera specs, and software features, are still under wraps. But those will likely come to light as we get closer to the official launch.
Availability and Where to Buy
Once launched, the vivo T4 Ultra is expected to be available across multiple platforms. You’ll likely find it on Flipkart, Vivo’s own online store, and offline retail outlets throughout India.
So, while we wait for the final reveal, it’s safe to say the T4 Ultra is gearing up to be a noteworthy addition to Vivo’s lineup—especially for users who prioritize camera versatility and high-end performance in their daily driver.
