The wait for OnePlus’s next big flagship is almost over. The company has started teasing the OnePlus 15 on its official website and Amazon India, which means the launch is just around the corner.
Launch Timeline
OnePlus has already confirmed that the phone will debut in China on October 27. For India, the exact date hasn’t been officially revealed, but the teaser page hints at an October 29 announcement, just two days later. If that happens, the Indian launch should take place by the end of October or early November. The phone will be available in Sand Storm and Black color options at launch.
Power and Display
The OnePlus 15 is confirmed to pack Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. On the software side, it will run OxygenOS 16 (based on Android).
The display is another highlight — a 6.78-inch BOE X3 AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 165Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. In short, it’s designed for smooth scrolling, vibrant visuals, and bright outdoor use.
Battery and Charging
Powering the device is a massive 7,300mAh battery, one of the biggest in a OnePlus flagship. It supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, so topping up the battery should be quick and hassle-free.
Cameras and Gaming
For cameras, the OnePlus 15 is expected to feature a triple 50MP setup:
- A primary Sony sensor with OIS,
- A Samsung ultrawide lens,
- A telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
On top of that, gamers will appreciate the new Wind Chi Game Kernel 2.0, which is designed to balance performance and keep temperatures under control during long gaming sessions.
