Global tech brand OnePlus is doubling down on its presence in the gaming world. They’ve just announced their return as both the Title Sponsor and Official Smartphone Partner for Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 4, one of India’s biggest BGMI esports tournaments.
This move solidifies OnePlus’s commitment to the gaming community. They’re once again teaming up with NODWIN Gaming, a big name in Asian esports, to be the title sponsor of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series. For OnePlus, this is a clear step in supporting India’s competitive gaming scene. Reputed for its high-powered phones, the brand is intent on providing gamers with premium tech and a serious experience. In a straightforward demonstration of its prowess, the new flagship OnePlus 13 will be the phone employed in every single game played throughout BGMS 2025, truly testing its performance and reliability in serious games.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) itself is a highlight in Indian esports history. It was the first-ever television BGMI event in the country and has really revolutionized the game of mobile esports here. The third season last year, in 2024, attracted more than 145.5 million views across platforms. It also brought in hip new stuff such as “Powerplay rounds” and “Impact Player” mechanics, as well as interactive fan zones. All of this has made BGMS a cultural phenomenon, particularly with the younger generations in India.
This ongoing partnership between OnePlus and BGMS (which NODWIN Gaming owns and runs) really shows a shared drive for speed, performance, and connecting with youth culture—something OnePlus calls its “Never Settle” philosophy. OnePlus has a strong track record of delivering fast, smooth performance, which has always clicked with users who want powerful smartphones, especially for gaming. This collaboration with BGMS just deepens OnePlus’s roots in India’s fast-growing mobile gaming scene, helping them connect with the next wave of competitive gamers and digital-first audiences.
OnePlus India’s Director of Product Strategy Marcel Campos said, “We’re very proud to be the Title Sponsor and Official Smartphone Partner of India’s best BGMI esports league, BGMS. The fact that OnePlus 13 is powering each match is evidence that our phones are actually battle-tested and gamer-approved. This’s not merely about sponsorship but OnePlus’ relentless drive for product performance to keep up with what competitive gamers need.”
Akshat Rathee, Managing Director and Co-Founder of NODWIN Gaming, stressed, “OnePlus has played a pivotal role in India’s esports narrative, and their return as title sponsor for BGMS Season 4 indicates that they’re here to stay. This deal isn’t about a single tournament; it’s about crafting the entire ecosystem together. We’re looking forward to taking both the competition and the gaming community at large even further!”
This isn’t their first rodeo, either. The partnership between OnePlus and NODWIN Gaming spans over five years, creating memorable moments in Indian esports. They’ve put on tournaments like Domin8 (2020) and Dominate 2.0 (2021), engaged younger audiences with Campus Dominate (2022), and even tried creator-led formats like Dominate Nights. In 2023, OnePlus first took center stage at BGMS, solidifying its focus on providing smooth, powerful, and fun gaming experiences for today’s smartphone users.
