Nothing Phone (3) appears on Geekbench with 16GB RAM and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, beating Poco F7 in early scores. Official launch set for July 1.

The official launch of the Nothing Phone (3) is still a few days away—scheduled for July 1—but that hasn’t stopped the leaks from rolling in. The phone just popped up on Geekbench, revealing some interesting performance details. Coincidentally, this appearance comes right after the launch of the Poco F7, which means the timing couldn’t be more perfect for comparisons.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 at the Core

Both the Nothing Phone (3) and the Poco F7 are powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm. It’s a powerful processor that bridges the gap between premium mid-range and flagship territory. But while they share the same chip, Nothing seems to be pushing things further in other areas—especially RAM.

Nothing Ups the Game with 16GB RAM

Unlike Xiaomi’s Poco F7, which maxes out at 12 GB of RAM, the Nothing Phone (3) has been spotted with a more robust 16 GB of RAM configuration on Geekbench. That’s not only more than the Phone (2) had, but also puts it ahead of several competitors right out of the gate.

There’s a good chance that Nothing will also offer a 12 GB RAM variant as the base model, but even so, the 16 GB option signals that this phone is built with performance enthusiasts in mind.

Benchmark Scores Show Flagship-Level Potential

Nothing Phone (3)

Let’s talk numbers. According to Geekbench 6.4.0, the Nothing Phone (3) scored 2,076 in the single-core test and 6,577 in the multi-core section. For context, these scores are about 5% higher than what the Poco F7 managed.

Even more impressive? These results put the phone in the same league as some last-generation flagships like the Xiaomi 14, OnePlus 12, and the more affordable OnePlus 13R. Not bad at all for a device that hasn’t even officially launched yet.

Premium Price Tag Incoming?

Now, here’s the part that might raise some eyebrows. Rumors suggest the Nothing Phone (3) could start at around $799, which places it in a higher price bracket than many expect from a so-called “sub-flagship” phone. That price tag would make it one of the most expensive phones in its class, but if the real-world experience matches the benchmark numbers, it just might be worth it.

So, should you be excited? If you’re looking for a sleek, performance-oriented smartphone that’s not quite a flagship but still packs serious power—especially with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and up to 16 GB of RAM—then the Nothing Phone (3) definitely deserves a spot on your radar.
